About

GlassHacks will be a 24 hour hackathon hosted at Maumee Valley Country Day School, open to high school students across the country. Including volunteers, mentors, judges, sponsors, and students, we expect over 120 attendees. The event is open to EVERYONE, regardless of prior experience! We expect skilled individuals as well as beginners with little to no experience. Our goal is to offer as many learning opportunities throughout the event as possible. This includes workshops, contests, and, of course, speakers. We'll provide nearly everything you could possibly need to have an incredible hacking experience. Expect great prizes, cool T-shirts, and lots more!

Who can attend?

All highschoolers are welcome. If you're experienced but think you might be too young to attend, please contact us and we'll figure it out!

What is a Hackathon?

Hackathons are 24 to 36 hour events where teams of students (experienced AND beginner) work together to build cool projects in both software and hardware. We'll be hosting a 24 hour hackathon at Maumee Valley Country Day School for highschoolers only. You can find more general info here.

What should I bring?

All we ask is that you bring a computer (preferably laptop), charger, and sleeping bag. You might also want to bring one or more power strips. We'll provide the rest!
